Junkyard Discovery: Windy Hill Auto Parts, New London MN
I found this yard during a summer camping trip with my sons. There are cars in here going back to the 1920's. It is a family run business run by a nice family. They will let you drive your car into the yard (not recommended if its been raining) and there are buses and old buildings you can rummage around in. I found a bus filled with taillights and two buses filled with bumpers, some rechromed and still wrapped.
I'm not afraid to share my fishing spots and this was a good one. If you have lots of time and like to explore this is a great place to spend a day or two. BTW, Sibley Park is a GREAT place to camp.
